AIMS Worldwide To Acquire
Harrell Woodcock Linkletter
FAIRFAX, Va—(BUSINESS WIRE)—March 24, 2004—AIMS Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: AMWW), a vertically integrated marketing services, communication and media property company, announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Harrell Woodcock Linkletter (HWL). Upon completion of due diligence by all parties, AIMS and HWL intend to enter a definitive agreement that will result in HWL, a private strategy, planning and marketing consulting group, becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of AIMS Worldwide.
“Harrell Woodcock Linkletter is our first acquisition in the strategy, planning, consulting and advisory field,” says AIMS president and CEO Gerald Garcia Jr. “It will become the core of our marketing professional services group to be chaired by David Woodcock who is chairman and general managing partner of HWL.”
During the past 30 years, Woodcock’s distinguished accomplishments include among others, developing initial strategies, which led to the creation of NFL Properties and instituting Inc. Magazine’s Council of Growing Companies. Other HWL founding partners include Emmy Award winning broadcast icon, author, and humorist Art Linkletter who hosted People are Funny and House Party, TV’s longest running daytime variety show, and recently deceased noted entrepreneur Wilson Harrell, past publisher of Inc. Magazine and passionate new enterprise developer who founded more than 100 companies and created Formula 409 all-purpose liquid cleaner brand.
AIMS Worldwide is an emerging leader in designing, developing and managing one-to-one marketing solutions at the lowest possible cost to large and mid-sized businesses. The company is accelerating its growth by targeting and acquiring a group of media and marketing communication services companies.
