AIMS Worldwide to Acquire Bill Main & Associates;
Sells Prime Time Broadband Interests
Purchase Will Add Strength in Retail Strategies Space
FAIRFAX, Va.— (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 3, 2007 — AIMS Worldwide, Inc. (OTC BB: AMWW), a vertically integrated marketing communications consultancy providing organizations with focused marketing solutions, today announced plans to complete its acquisition of Bill Main & Associates after selling certain LLC assets of its subsidiary, Prime Time Broadband.
AIMS sold its LLC assets to Ygnition Networks of Seattle, Washington. Prime Time Broadband’s private cable companies serve more than 2,500 households and resort rooms in premier master-planned communities and major resorts in greater Orlando. AIMS retains development, construction and select marketing rights of Prime Time Broadband.
Under the terms of the sale to Ygnition Networks, “AIMS will keep certain marketing rights that permit us to test our one-to-one consumer marketing communication model on behalf of clients,” Garcia said. “Narrowcast distribution channels offer flexible, cost-efficient targeting of marketing messages to permission-based consumers — an invaluable aid to our Return On Marketing Investment (ROMI) business model.”
Portions of sale proceeds will be used by AIMS Worldwide to conclude its acquisition of Chico, California-based Bill Main & Associates. AIMS has held the strategic planning company’s purchase in escrow since January 18, 2007, when it signed an agreement in principal to acquire the business, completing the next step of its AIMS Strategy and Planning Group major business unit operations expansion.
