AIMS Worldwide’s IKON Public Affairs unit launches 2010 Campaign Media Buying Services II

FAIRFAX, Va.— MARKETWire — July 8, 2010 — AIMS Worldwide, Inc. (OTC BB: AMWW), a marketing services company providing clients with integrated, impactful, cost-effective and measurable solutions, announced today that IKON Public Affairs (IKON) has launched Campaign Media Buying Services II (CMBS II). CMBS II focuses on purchasing and reselling local broadcast television media time to political and issue-oriented campaigns.

IKON is an AIMS subsidiary that concentrates on public and government affairs and campaigns/elections management and consulting.

In 2008, CMBS I demonstrated the viability of the advance media buying model to take advantage of substantial price increases in broadcast time over the course of an election cycle. CMBS I purchased airtime early in the cycle and then resold to buyers at a discount from media rate card prices. CMBS I purchased media in 13 U.S. media markets covering 60+ broadcast outlets and generated more than $8 million in revenues on the initiative. It is anticipated that the 2010 initiative will exceed 2008.

“CMBS I confirmed the practicality of a new business model for buying local broadcast issue advertising time that serves the interests of our customers, the broadcast stations and our investors,” said Dominic DelPapa, managing director of CMBS. “We expect to realize even greater results for our stakeholders in 2010.”

Campaign Media Services II, LLC will operate as a newly-formed Delaware limited liability company, owned by IKON.

“CMBS I provided robust and unique opportunities for AIMS Worldwide, as reported in our 2008 annual report, and we are excited about the potential of CMBS II,” said Gerald Garcia Jr., AIMS chairman and CEO.

CMBS II will make its inventory of broadcast issue advertising time available to non-candidate electoral, issue and independent expenditure organizations as well as U.S. owned corporations that recently became eligible to engage in independent political expenditures as a result of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2010 ruling (Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission) that overturned certain major restrictions on corporate political speech.
